Octopus adds apartments

Tuesday, 29 Oct, 2003 0

OctopusTravel.com is introducing apartments to its range of products, and offering agents 10% commission on bookings.

Octopus adds the inventory of 2,000 apartments to its current product list of 19,000 hotels and 1,700 sight-seeing tours.

The company hopes to increase bookings through the trade “at a time when commissions are being cut by other industry sectors”.

Managing director, Ray Mason said: “We really do encourage travel agents to make use of the Internet, combine it with good old fashioned customer service and give customers a good reason to continue visiting high street agents.”
