Only 9% of travel agents “happy at work”
A survey has shown that travel agents are generally not too content in their jobs.
Only nine per cent of respondents say they are “extremely happy” in heir job.
According to a report in The Guardian, the survey carried out by City and Guilds showed that hairdressers were happiest, followed by the clergy, chefs, beauticians and plumbers.
By way of contrast, the least happy were social workers, architects, civil servants, estate agents and lawyers.
Chris Humphries, of City and Guilds, summed up the situation eloquently: “Nowadays true job satisfaction and happiness is about fulfilling your own potential, tapping into your own creativity and feeling that you can make a difference.
