Palm Beach hotel renovations spurring meeting business

Renovations at several hotels in Palm Beach are increasing its convention and meeting business. For example:

  • The 560-room Breakers Hotel, for example, is undergoing a $15 million makeover that will add some private beach cottages. That is due to be completed next December.

  • The 339-room PGA National Resort & Spa is also undergoing a renovation of all its guest rooms.

  • The 270-room Ritz-Carlton completed a $15 million renovation this month.

The Palm Beach County Convention Center has 350,000 square feet of space with 23 meeting rooms. The county has 16,000 hotel rooms.
