Passenger charged with flight attendant assault
The passenger who punched a flight attendant has been formally charged by US prosecutors. Brian Hsu, 20, of Irvine, California, is charged with assault and interfering with a flight crew.
American Airlines CEO Doug Parker said it was ‘one of the worst displays of unruly behavior we’ve ever witnessed.’
There has been a record number of disruptive incidents this year even though the Federal Aviation Administration has pledged a ‘zero tolerance’ strategy.
