Young Will Lambert fancied spending his gap year in the Alps and approached several UK operators looking for work, but when he was turned down by all of them because of his lack of expereince (speficially he hadn’t done a cookery course), he ended up landing a job in Meribel with French all-inclusive operator Club Med as a ski technician.
