Possible delays and cancellations at Luton Airport
Luton Airport is warning passengers about possible delays and cancellations today, after a private plane overshot the runway.
A Cessna Citation suffered “hydraulic failure” at 6.30pm last night (Wednesday). Noone was injured but flights were immediately suspended in and out of the airport.
A statement today said: “The airport is now fully operational with scheduled flights arriving and departing.
“A small number of flights today (Thursday September 21) may be subject to delay and cancellation as operations return to normal.
“Passengers are advised to contact their airline for further information.”
