Princess Cruises appoints Harrods manager
Princess Cruises UK has appointed Grace Sandwith as sales manager strategic accounts.
She will be based at Carnival House, Princess’ UK office in Southampton, and manage the commercial relationships, alongside the advertising and marketing support, of several strategic accounts.
Sandwith will report into Karen Farndell, senior sales manager, together with Princess UK’s other sales managers, Zoe Scott and Georgie Mireylees.
She brings the sales function up to a complement of 15 team members dedicated to supporting the trade.
She joins Princess Cruises from Harrods, where she was most recently divisional merchandise manager, responsible for the concessions within womenswear, accessories, shoes and childrenswear.
This included the operational management of large-scale accounts such as Chanel, Dior and Cartier.
Sandwith initially joined Harrods’ graduate scheme, progressing to her most recent role via positions including retail manager for food orders & hampers and concessions manager.
Rachel Poultney, Princess Cruises’ sales director UK & Europe, said: "Grace brings with her a wealth of experience managing large commercial accounts at Harrods and we’re very excited to have her onboard.
"Her time working in a prestigious, luxury sector means she is ideally placed to maintain and enhance our premium positioning with agents."
