Qantas extends Darwin-London routing until June
Qantas will continue flying to London via Darwin until at least June 2022. It comes as Western Australia keeps its border restrictied. The Perth to London service was due to restart in the spring but the West Australian government has stood firm in keeping state borders closed.
The Darwin stop will continue because of ‘ongoing uncertainty around the reopening of the West Australian border. ‘Qantas chief Alan Joyce has likened WA’s border policy to that of North Korea.
