Thursday, 18 Jul, 2012 0

Skytrax World Airline’s award, given out at the Farnborough Air Show on July 12 has named Qatar Airways number one in the World’s Top 10 Airline category.  This is the second year in a row win for Qatar. It won the same award in 2011.

Other winners in the number one category include: Air Canada for Best International Airline in North America, China Eastern for Most Improved Airline and British Airways for Best Transatlantic Airline.

The awards are calculated by Skytrax through surveys with actual air travelers during a 10-month period.  The survey covers over 200 airlines, from the big international airlines to small regional carriers.
