Qatar to host MICE trade event inVOYAGE

Qatar will host MICE trade event inVOYAGE this year.

It takes place 2 –5 October 2022, just ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kick off.

It is hosted at the soon-to-open Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, welcoming up to 200 travel and events professionals from more than 24 countries.

It is the first time the event will take place in Qatar and is in partnership with Qatar Tourism, Discover Qatar, and Qatar Airways.

Chief Operating Officer of Qatar Tourism, Berthold Trenkel, said: “MICE is a core focus for us as an ideal and accessible hub for business.”

Qatar is targeting six million visitors a year by 2030, with approximately 20% of them MICE travellers.

Richard Joslin, Co-Founder of inVOYAGEsaid: “Our guests will gain a unique first-hand experience of Qatar’s incredible culture and its increasingly diverse offering for luxury events and incentives.”
