Ritz-Carlton has signed a management agreement with NDG Asia Pacific to open the first Ritz-Carlton property in New Zealand in 2019.
It says the 300-room Auckland hotel will be an ‘iconic property’ that will enhance the famous skyline of the waterfront city.
Next to the distinctive Sky City, The Ritz-Carlton Auckland will have uninterrupted 360 degree views of Auckland’s twin harbours.
"We have long desired to bring The Ritz-Carlton to New Zealand and we’ve patiently waited for the right partner and opportunity that will create a showcase worthy of this world-class city," said Herve Humler, president and chief operating officer for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company."
