River cruises added by Cadogan
River cruises in Europe, Russia and China have been introduced by Cadogan Holidays.
The specialist operator is featuring 13 Viking River Cruises’ itineraries in a dedicated brochure.
The move is part of the company’s policy on diversification and “destinational expansion”.
Product and commercial director John Riley said: “The introduction of river cruising to our programme is part of the development of the Cadogan offering that has been going on over the past six months.
“The river cruise product sits perfectly alongside our biggest ever 2007 programme and offers a great way to visit some of Europe and China’s most historic and impressive cities from the comfort of a luxury floating hotel. Luxury river cruising is an ideal fit with the preferences of Cadogan’s discerning customers and these trips represent not only Cadogan’s expansion into cruising but also into some fantastic new destinations.”
Prices start at £2,395 per person for a 14-night itinerary from Amsterdam to Budapest along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.
Discounts of up to £1,000 apply on selected cruises, including Treasures of the Rhine and Paris and Heart of Normandy.
