Scotland to relax international travel testing policy
Fully-vaccinated travellers to Scotland can skip pre-departure Covid tests, the Scottish government has confirmed. Scotland will also ‘align with the UK post-arrival testing regime’ the government said.
It marks a U-turn after the government said it would stay with current testing requirements due to public health concerns. Although there are still concerns, Transport Secretary Michael Matheson said officials ‘reluctantly concluded’ following the UK’s new protocols was the ‘best option.’
