Singapore Air, SilkAir to codeshare with Vistara in India

Singapore Air and low budget regional unit SilkAir have agreed a codeshare partnership with SIA backed Indian carrier Vistara.
Taking effect this week, Singpore Air will place its code on Vistara operated domestic flights on 10 routes out of Delhi and Mumbai.
SilkAir will codeshare on six routes from Bengaluru and Kolkata run by Vistara.
"We are very pleased with our first codeshare agreement with Vistara, which represents a strengthening of our already strong partnership," said SIA senior vice president marketing planning, Tan Kai Ping.
"Through the new codeshare agreement, both SIA and SilkAir are able to expand our network reach in the important India market, providing our customers even more travel options and enhanced KrisFlyer benefits."
Delhi based Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons and SIA Group which launched in early 2015.
