Singapore approves return of Boeing 737 Max
Singapore’s Civil Aviation Authority has formally issued a directive lifting the grounding of Boeing 737 Max flight operations. Airlines can now resume Max flights after a long pause since March 2019.
CAAS said it carried out extensive assessments of the design changes to the aircraft which were approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration and other regulators. It also monitored operational data of Max flights since late 2020 when airlines began flying the aircraft again.
