Sofitel launches Australia’s first Lancome beauty studio

Beauty lovers can now kiss and ‘make up’ literally on their next holiday thanks to a clever collaboration between luxury hoteliers Sofitel and skin and cosmetic specialist, Lancôme Paris.

The indulgent Sofitel Mansion Hotel & Spa in Victoria has launched Australia’s first ever Lancôme Beauty Studio, offering the latest in skin care for hotel guests. The Beauty Studio complements the hotel’s fresh new day spa concept, ‘Le Spa’, introduced earlier this year for a second to none, five-star pampering experience.

The stunning design of the Lancôme Beauty Studio was overseen by the talented Serge Chehab, Visual Merchandising Projects Manager of Lancôme International, and follows the European boutique concept made famous by Lancôme’s Institute at N° 29, Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.

Marketing Manager of Lancôme Australia, Serena Woon-Havryluk said that Lancôme is thrilled to join forces with Sofitel’s LeSpa and to launch the first dedicated Lancôme Beauty Studio outside of France and China.

A cocoon of comfort ensconced in voluminous white drapes, the Lancôme Beauty Studio is a refuge from the outside world and the starting point for a unique multi-sensory experience.

The cocoon lights up with energising orange, comforting pink, soothing blue, healing green or anti-ageing red, depending on the treatment selected. Sound and smell also play their part: fragrance and aromas combine with bracing or relaxing music composed exclusively for Lancôme by the International Centre of Musicotherapy.
