Somewhere2stay revamps website
Somewhere2stay has relaunched its website to meet the growing needs of travel agents in the dynamic packaging sector.
Managing director Stuart Jackson said: “We have undertaken thorough research with agents and this has guided how we have developed the new site.
“Benefits for travel agents include rich content as well as highly beneficial administrative functions which will offer the most up to date and accurate account management information currently available to agents.”
The company claims the improvements mean agents can take full control over bookings, including being able to run reports and view all booking and print off hotel vouchers in full colour with hotel descriptions.
This applies to all bookings made, whether through xml or viewdata, and will give agents full access to the management information.
In addition, alll staff members within one agency can have their own individual trackable reference to give detailed performance statistics.
The new site will offer live pricing upfront, rather than cached pricing currently, so the first price seen will always be the price paid.
Its villa search now offers availability for any requested month rather than having to request by individual date.
Shuttles (coach transfers) have been added to complement the range of taxi transfers and are now available in 36 gateways worldwide.
In addition, an enhanced xml feed is now available to agents and the large software suppliers.
“With market intelligence telling us that 55% of all bookings are currently being made via xml and likely to increase still further, we have significantly enhanced our own xml technology to offer the best in the current market place” added Jackson.
