Southwest CEO tests positive after questioning masks on planes
Just days after questioning the need for masks on planes, Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly has tested positive for Covid-19. He tested positive after testifying with other airline bosses in a Senate hearing.
Kelly attracted criticism for questioning masks on flights. He did not wear a mask at the hearing. The airline said Kelly ‘is doing well and currently resting at home with mild symptoms.’
Other CEOs and lawmakers present at the hearing all tested negative.
