Spain flight bookings surge
There has been a 400% surge in flight bookings to Spain since amber list isolating rules were eased for vaccinated holidaymakers. Iago Negueruela, spokesperson for the Balearics’ regional government, said a ‘glance at the streets’ proves ‘there is a tourism season’ with resorts filling up.
In addition, Spanish aviation authority AENA says flights from the UK have trebled since last week. Carriers including Iberia and Ryanair have ramped up frequencies.
