Threatened strikes by Spanish airport workers look set to be called off.
AENA, the Spanish Airport Authority, has reached a preliminary agreement with the unions to ensure the working rights of all employees.
"The agreement means the prospective strike will be called off if it is endorsed by the workers," said a statement from the Ministry of Spanish Works.
It also means both sides will be committed to collaborate and to carry out talks in order to resolve any further disputes.
Strikes had been planned for Easter and throughout the summer until August.
