Strong growth at CWT
Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) reported net revenue growth rates of 30%, which the company attributed to a favorable market, recent acquisitions, good client retention and strong new sales.
“At the mid-year, we are pleased to see strong momentum in our performance, as well as in each of our key business strategies,” said Hubert Jolly, president and CEO of CWT Worldwide.
He said 45% of the company’s transactions are now online, compared to 36% a year ago.
Hotel bookings have been growing at double-digit rates, he added.
In addition, CWT has seen record new sales across a broad range of client sizes and geographies.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel handles business travel management, partnering with large corporations, small and medium-sized companies and government institutions.
