Sudden departure of NCL’s Francis Riley – updated
NCL has refused to disclose the reasons for the sudden departure of Francis Riley, the cruiseline’s president of international business development.
Riley, formerly UK general manager, was promoted to the international position last summer and relocated to Miami.
He joined NCL as sales director in 2004 and was responsible for overseeing the launch of three new Freestyle Cruising ships in the UK and doubling the number of UK guests for NCL.
A spokeswoman for NCL said the company “doesn’t comment on individual personnel matters”.
