Surprise! It’s a Carnevale at Vegas resorts
The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas are bringing back and expanding CARNEVALE, a three-month celebration of the summer festivals of Italy that premiered last year.
Beginning this weekend and running through Labor Day, this year’s festival will offer 300 experiences through the summer.
CARNEVALE is inspired by the numerous festivals held in the small villages and towns of Italy. The Venice CARNEVALE, held annually since 1162, is one of Europe’s greatest celebrations of art, food, and culture.
Activities at The Venetian and The Palazzo resorts will include entertainment, art, fashion, games, sports, music, and wine, plus themed characters and the element of surprise.
"The magic of CARNEVALE is never knowing what unexpected surprise is around the corner," said John Caparella, president and COO of The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Sands Expo.
Other events include a welcome reception with live music, mixology lessons, pizza-eating contests, and special wine and food weekends.
Guests at the resorts will also receive "Passaporto di CARNEVALE" with discount coupons valued at more than $1,000.
