How travel and tourism can respond to terrorism will be under discussion at World Travel Market.

The International Institute of Peace Through Tourism is to run the debate on November 14 – the first day of the show in London.

The panel discussion will take the theme of A Strategic Travel Industry Response to International Terrorism.

IIPT founder and president Louis D’Amore said: “The debate will feature senior travel industry leaders from areas which have recently experienced terrorist bombings, who will share their response strategies as well as ideas and perspectives for a long term global industry response in addressing the root causes of terrorism.”
