The Vertical Group launches innovative Virtual Travel Agency

The first ever comprehensive web-based solution to cover all the needs of travel agents is to be launched at WTM by leading travel technology provider The Vertical Group.

The company will use WTM to unveil ‘Virtual Travel Agency’, a breakthrough end-to-end service for travel agents, described by the company as its most innovative and complete product yet.

Virtual Travel Agency provides everything from website design and hosting, content management, booking systems and online marketing to complete back-office functionality, all through internet-based access.

The launch of Virtual Travel Agency follows a staggering 400% rise in the sale of internet based technology services by The Vertical Group over the past six months alone.

Said Peter Whittle, Marketing Director of The Vertical Group: “It is anticipated that Europe’s online travel market will be worth €28.5 billion by 2006 .
