TOURCO launches new FIT tours
TOURCO launched a new series of FIT fly-drive tours that utilize Historic Hotels of America.
The later is owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which was established in 1989 to “identify quality hotels that have faithfully maintained their historic integrity, architecture and ambience.”
Said Jerry DePetro, TOURCO president:
“The question I get most often is,’What’s new and unique?’ We have long been known for our specialist driving tours, using unique character properties and country inns, and this is a natural for us.”
TOURCO is an inbound wholesale receptive operator for the East Coast of the US and Canada.
Typical trips include New England Fall foliage tours with accommodations such as the historic Waldorf-Astoria in New York or the Latham Hotel in Philadelphia.
“We want travelers, both domestic and international, to experience the real America…to enjoy not only the sights along the way, but to consider their accommodations as destinations as well,” said Marian DiPetro, executive vice president of the company.
