Tourism Society appoints new board member

The Tourism Society has elected Fiona Anderson as a board member.
Anderson is chair of the society’s PR Network steering group and has a 20-year PR career spanning corporate, lifestyle and travel.
Her client experience includes Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Hilton Hotels & Resorts from the accommodation sector; destinations including India, the Maldives, the Philippines, Jamaica and Kyoto and disrupters such as Click&Boat.
She is a Cardiff University Communications graduate and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
She is also a board member of Women in Travel CIC.

Lisa
Lisa joined Travel Weekly nearly 25 years ago as technology reporter and then sailed around the world for a couple of years as cruise correspondent, before becoming deputy editor. Now freelance, Lisa writes for various print and web publications, edits Corporate Traveller’s client magazine, Gateway, and works on the acclaimed Remembering Wildlife series of photography books, which raise awareness of nature’s most at-risk species and helps to fund their protection.
