TravelMole and World Travel Market will run a technology award scheme at ExCel in November to further underline the huge importance of the sector.

The awards will also further strengthen ties between the two companies after WTM chose TravelMole as its official travel technology media partner.

WTM organiser Reed Travel Exhibitions is planning to expand the technology area at ExCel by 25% to create a “show within a show.”

Exhibition director Fiona Jeffery said TravelMole has been chosen as its partner because of its international reach, speed and ability to communicate message to the travel technology community.

Details of the award scheme are currently being finalised and will be revealed by TravelMole shortly.
