Travelzoo opens Spanish sales office
Travelzoo has opened a sales office today in Barcelona to service growing demand from Spanish advertisers.
“Spain is one of the largest inbound travel markets in Europe and home to some of Europe’s largest travel companies,” said Chris Loughlin, managing director of Travelzoo Europe.
“It makes sense to have a local sales office to better service our Spanish clients. The Spanish office will also serve clients in other Mediterranean markets such as Portugal.”
According to a June 2006 survey of Travelzoo’s UK subscribers, Spain was the most popular destination for holiday travel and Barcelona was the second most popular city break destination behind London.
