United Airlines resuming winter service to Bermuda

Wednesday, 30 September 20153 min read
United Airlines is reinstating its winter schedule to Bermuda with three flights a week from Newark beginning November 20.
Flights will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday to Bermuda’s LF Wade International Airport.
The new schedule was announced by Bermuda tourism officials and has been lauded as a boost for both tourism and business.
"Having obtained feedback from the international business and tourism sectors, it was determined that convincing United to return to Bermuda this winter was essential and that having flights on Mondays and Fridays was especially important to the international business community," said Minister for Tourism Development and Transport, Shawn Crockwell.
Aaron Adderley, general manager of the LF Wade International Airport also welcomed the additional airlift for winter and said: "Airlines have been making winter scheduling adjustments for their Bermuda routes over the past few years in response to passenger numbers. That’s why it’s important that this flight and all of our winter services improve year over year to ensure that we maintain our desired level of flight services year round."
