Vietjet adding three new routes to India
Vietnam’s largest budget carrier Vietjet is opening three new direct routes linking its main three hubs with India.
Starting on May 14, 2020, it will begin flying from Da Nang to New Delhi five times a week and three times from Hanoi to Mumbai.
The next day it begins a Ho Chi Minh City – Mumbai route with flights four times weekly.
"We are excited to continue connecting Vietnam destinations to the market of over 1.2 billion population in India after receiving positive feedback regarding our previous two direct flights," said Nguyen Thanh Son, Vietjet VP.
"With just over five hours of flight time per leg, and a convenient flight schedule throughout the week, Vietjet’s newest routes between Vietnam and India will create many more trade and tourism opportunities."
Once these three new routes kick off it will operate the most nonstop routes between the two countries.
