Virgin Cruises makes key appointment
Virgin Cruises has appointed Stuart Hawkins as senior vice president in charge of new builds.
A naval architect and chartered engineer, Hawkins previously managed the design, construction and delivery of Royal Princess and Regal Princess and was also involved in the design of Cunard’s Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.
Tom McAlpin, president and chief executive of Virgin Cruises, said: “I’m thrilled that Stuart has joined Virgin Cruises to lead our newbuild team.
“Given his extensive experience and customer focus, Stuart is uniquely qualified to help us deliver on our promise to create breathtaking experiences for our cruise guests.”
