Virgin Galactic gets FAA clearance to restart space flights
The US Federal Aviation Administration has cleared Virgin Galactic to resume space flights again.
The FAA had temporarily grounded launches after SpaceShipTwo slightly veered off course during its last flight.
Virgin claimed the flight path adjustment was because of high-altitude winds and that the crew responded accordingly.
Following a review the FAA agreed corrective measures with Virgin, which includes sharing real-time notifications with FAA air traffic control.
Having regained FAA clearance, Virgin has tentative plans for another space flight in October.
