VLM starts internet check-in

Friday, 21 Feb, 2007 0

Internet check-in has been introduced by VLM Airlines as the carrier upgraded its website, www.flyvlm.com.

Passengers with hand luggage only will be able to check-in from home or office up to 30 hours prior to departure.

The online check-in process, which can be used up to two hours prior to departure, enables passengers to select seat and print a bar-coded boarding pass.

The service is currently available for flights except those departing from Luxembourg, Brussels and Jersey, where this will be introduced by the end of the year.

Self-service “Express Check-in” kiosks are also being introduced by the airline at Manchester airport this month.

The airline’s website claims to include a faster, easy-to-use booking engine providing a wider range of fares.
