Von Essen hotels has appointed Sally Strang as marketing manager for its first London property, the Hotel Verta.
The property will open at The London Heliport in Battersea on September 12, becoming the first helipad-based hotel in Europe.
Strang joins von Essen with more than 25 years experience in the hotel, aviation and hospitality industries.
She has held various sales and marketing roles at Westin, Marriot Hotels, Edwardian and Thistle Hotels.
