Web Applications UK Acquires Kelworth Systems
Web Applications UK Ltd. completed the purchase of the good will and assets of Kelworth Ltd., including their customer base, Accoman and Accowin products. The company is to form a new division of Web Applications UK called Acumen, to sit alongside the existing Systems Division and Travel Division (which services clients such as Hoseasons and HolidayBreak).
Gavin Norman, previously the Managing Director of Kelworth Ltd. joins Web Applications as Sales Manager, “Kelworth was a small company with big ideas. We really wanted to do right by our clients, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to deliver web-enabled solutions in the current climate. Web Applications provide the experience, dedication, and above all, commitment to their clients, that make me confident they can take my customer’s experience to a whole new level.”
Craig Dean, Chief Executive of Web Applications continues, “Many of Kelworth’s client base supply our customers, and we have been working on integration solutions to drive down the cost of sales. Acquiring Kelworth presented a real opportunity to benefit not only our existing client base, but a whole new group of clients, for which we can make a genuine difference. We have great plans, and the experience to turn around the problems that have plagued the company in the previous six months. We will be writing to all our new customers in the coming week to introduce ourselves and will be holding a User Group Seminar for them all on the 30th March, where we will show them our future plans and reassure them that we’re in this for the long haul. We’ll be working hard to encourage them to attend.”
Existing Kelworth customers should continue to contact their usual support numbers and emails and direct any queries to [email protected]. Further details will follow shortly.
