Sacramento’s newest live entertainment venue
In June, Hard Rock Live at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Fire Mountain celebrated its grand opening weekend with a sold-out show featuring Grammy award-winning Maroon 5. The 2,500-seat venue will host an array of events including live shows, premier sporting events and more. Hard Rock Live is located in Wheatland, 35 miles north of downtown Sacramento. Cirque du Soleil Alegría
Cirque du Soleil Alegría is playing Under the Big Top at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento from 28 July – 28 August. Alegría is an all-time Cirque du Soleil classic reimagined for a new generation. With an unforgettable soundtrack, acrobatics, vibrant sets and playful humor, Alegría is a touching, immersive experience – a quintessential Cirque du Soleil spectacle. Tickets can be purchased here.
Farm-to-Fork Festival 23-24 September
Sacramento’s free Farm-to-Fork Festival showcases the local production of Sacramento’s food and drink, hosted on the city’s iconic Capitol Mall. Visitors will find food, wine and beer, as well as live music on a big stage, live cooking demonstrations and interactive booths from local grocers, farms and ranches. To mark the beginning of the festival, the annual Tower Bridge Dinner will take place on Sunday 11 September.
Farm-to-Fork Festival music lineup
Japanese Breakfast and Gregory Porter will headline the two-day Farm-to-Fork Festival in Sacramento from 23-24 September 2022, produced by Visit Sacramento. Gregory Porter will headline the Friday night event, which will also include performances by Southern Avenue, The Last Bandoleros, Carter Faith and local DJs. Japanese Breakfast will close out the festival on Saturday, with performances by The National Parks, Jocelyn & Chris, and local DJs a.
The Farm-to-Fork Festival is one of the most popular events in Sacramento. Following its inception in 2013, it has increasingly focused on bringing in more musical performances and expanded to two days. In addition to the music, it stretches down Capitol Mall with a host of food vendors, chef demonstrations and other food-related activities.
