The region that produces some of the world’s best-known wines has been recognised by UNESCO.

The Langhe-Roero and Monferrato region, in the Piedmont region of north-west Italy, is now a designated World Heritage Site.

Known as the ‘vineyard landscape of Piedmont’, the Langhe Roero and Monferrato region is where Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti Spumante and Barbera d’Asti wines are produced.
