Wizz Air requires Covid-19 vaccination for flight crews
Wizz Air announced that all crews are required to be vaccinated as of 1 December 2021.
Employees unable to be jabbed in special cases will have to undertake regular antigen or PCR tests.
Wizz Air is among the first European airlines to introduce a vaccination policy, which will be implemented in line with the support of local authorities and health institutions across Wizz Air’s bases.
"At Wizz Air, our number one priority is the health and safety of our passengers and employees. We have a responsibility to protect crew and passengers on board by mitigating the risks of Covid-19, and vaccines play a vital role," said József Varadi, CEO of Wizz Air Group.
