www.wotif.com and www.ninemesn scrap partnership deal

Saturday, 25 May, 2007 0

After forming what was heralded as the hottest deal in the travel industry last year, www.wotif.com and www.ninemsn.com.au have announced the end of their relationship.

With the deal, described as ground breaking, only signed last year giving www.wotif.com exclusivity for hotel bookings on www.ninemsn.com.au  www.wotif.com CFO, Craig Dawson said the decision was mutual.

It is understood that www.ninemsn.com.au iwishes to acquire multiple accommodation partnerships and this may have been among the reasons for the split.

Dawson said that the impact for www.wotif.com was negligible, this also suggesting that the business eminating from www.ninemsn.com.au was less than anticipated at the time of the deal.
