AccorHotels UK & Ireland has appointed Inge van Ooteghem as senior vice president for upscale and midscale hotels.
She will have overall responsibility for operations and marketing across Pullman, MGallery, Novotel and Mercure brands in the UK and Ireland.
Van Ooteghem has worked for Accor hotels since 1988, most recently as senior vice president operations for its budget brand ibis.
The move comes as AccorHotels looks to expand through franchise and management deals, with a particular focus on the Mercure brand.
