Advantage signs deal with currency exchange company
The Advantage Travel Partnership has signed an agreement with International Foreign Exchange (IFX).
The deal is designed to help members who make regular or occasional payments in currencies outside of the UK.
IFX guarantees members preferential foreign exchange rates, beating those available from high street banks.
According to Advantage, one member saved over £300 on a €12,000 payment.
Ken McLeod, corporate director at The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: "This agreement will help members, mainly in the corporate market, who need to pay for services such as airline tickets and ground handling arrangements eg transfers; make advance payments to hotels and destination management companies for MICE groups; provide emergency cash for clients; or cover event costs such as conference delegate fees."
