AFTA Board Elections

Friday, 10 May, 2006 0

Nominations were called for the election of seven Directors for the Board of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).

As only seven nominations were received during the nominating period there is no requirement under the AFTA Constitution to hold a formal vote of the membership.

Accordingly, the following persons are elected to the Board of Directors of AFTA for a period of two years commencing at the Annual General Meeting of the Federation which will be held in Mebourne on July 8, 2006:

Andy Aitkenhead, American Express Travel
Carl Buerckner, HRG/BTI
Ross Irving, TQ3 Navigant
Chris Scott, Harvey World Travel
Bob Steel, Travelscene American Express
Graham Turner, Flight Centre Limited
