Air Canada Rouge is to launch a Toronto-London service next year.
The low-cost subsidiary of Air Canada will operate up to seven flights a week from May 2016 to London Gatwick.
Tickets go on sale next week for the Boeing 767 service.
Air Canada president, passenger airlines Benjamin Smith, said: "Air Canada rouge is ideally suited to serve Gatwick, with its focus on leisure travel.
"This new service will also make us the only Canadian carrier serving multiple airports in the London region and complements our Air Canada Rouge service to Manchester and Edinburgh."
Air Transat already operates the Toronto-Gatwick route and rival Westjet also plans to fly into Gatwick next year either from Calgary or Toronto.
