Air India revises US services due to 5G rollout
Air India said it is revising or ‘curtailing’ operations from India to the US because of the rollout of 5G tech across the US from today. In a Twitter post AI said services are subject to a change in aircraft type from 19 January.
The 5G tech can potentially affect aircraft navigation systems. US carriers warned of ‘catastrophic disruption’ at some airports. They say ‘significant operational disruption’ is possible.
