AirAsia has revived flights linking Malaysia with six Indian cities. It is again flying to Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Tiruchirappalli.
The airline expects to operate 30 weekly flights to India by the end of May and 71 by the year-end. That is about half of pre-Covid capacity.
AirAsia is reinstating routes across Southeast Asia to Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Four routes have relaunched with Kolkata and Hyderabad restarting on 22 April and 1 May respectively.
