Alaska Airlines adding more Los Angeles flights
Alaska Airlines is adding more flights at LAX.
It will launch seven new routes before the end of the year, starting with daily flights from Los Angeles International to Eugene and Medford in Oregon.
A new route to Bozeman, Montana follows in November, as well as cross-country services to Fort Myers and Tampa, Florida.
In December Alaska boosts its Hawaii schedules from southern California with three times a week service to Kona and four times a week to Lihue from LAX.
Alaska launched four new routes from Los Angeles earlier this year to Spokane, Washington and Boise, Idaho Redmond, Oregon and Missoula, Montana.
It is also launching twice daily flights to Fresno in September.
"LAX is one of Alaska’s important hub markets and continues to offer valuable opportunities for selective expansion," said Brett Catlin, Alaska MD of capacity planning and alliances.
"The addition of these 12 new routes from LAX along with our upcoming membership in the oneworld alliance sets the stage for future growth."
Alaska will fly to 35 nonstop destinations from LAX this winter.
It is also starting new Fort Lauderdale services from Portland and San Diego this winter, taking the number of nonstop routes between Florida and the West Coast to 14.
