Alaska return for luxury cruise line

Crystal Cruises is to return to Alaska next year for the first time since 2005.
Nine cruises on 940-passenger Crystal Symphony will run between May and August 2011.
The 12-night sailings will depart from San Francisco and will take in Vancouver; the Inside Passage, Juneau, Skagway and Glacier Bay.
Spring next year will see Crystal Symphony visit South America, the Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera and Hawaii, before heading to Alaska. Autumn itineraries include New England and Canada, rounding off the 2011 season in the Caribbean, Mexican Rivera and finally Hawaii.
The 1,080-passenger Crystal Serenity be based in Europe for the most of 2011, including voyages to North Cape and the Polar Ice Cap. Further highlights include the Baltic region, Russia and the Mediterranean. The ship then heads across the Atlantic in December for the Caribbean.
Crystal will continue with its “All Inclusive. – As You Wish” programme, which gives up to $2,000 per couple onboard credits, to spend on items such spa treatments, drinks, shore excursions and purchases from the ship’s boutiques.
UK sales and marketing director Andy Harmer said: “Again Crystal has demonstrated its commitment to the industry by offering agents huge potential for them to offer a broader choice for prospective clients.”
