Almost 600 unvaccinated United Airlines workers set to be fired
Nearly 600 United Airlines workers are facing termination of their employment for not getting vaccinated. The deadline to get jabbed has passed and 593 employees declinied to get the vaccine.
United says about 97% have been vaccinated while about 2,000 United workers requested an exemption on medical or religious grounds. Six United employees have sued the airline in federal court in Texas, claiming United’s vaccine mandate violates certain workplace laws.
