American Airlines has again extended its suspension of Israel flights into 2026.
Unlike other airlines, American didn’t resume flights to Tel Aviv after the October 2023 Hamas attacks.
Th airline won’t resume services until at least late March 2025.
“To provide additional flexibility, we will extend our travel alert allowing customers whose travel plans are impacted by this adjustment to rebook without a fee or cancel and receive a refund,” the airline said.
“We will continue to work closely with our partner airlines to assist customers traveling between Israel and European cities with service to the US.”
Earlier this year the airline hinted it could resume Israel flights in late 2024.
Due to the heightened risks of conflict across the broader region most foreign carrier have suspended flights to Tel Aviv again.
The U.S. State Department urges travelers to exercise extra caution in the region and not to travel to northern Israel, or the border regions of Lebanon and Syria.
